For the DCEU project I was brought on to head up all of the TurbulenceFD simulations and renders. Each character had it's own unique environment with subtle atmoshpheric smoke being a universal thread across all shots. There were seven hero character shots, one large scale character collection pullback shot, and then the final DC logo. This project was created as three separate spots, a 4K 15 second, 4K 30 second, and then a 20K(20,400px x 1260px) 30 second spot for Comic-Con Hall H. Each spot presented it's own challenges, with all versions having different character animation timing which required unique simulations and renders for much of the elements. For the 15 and 30 second 4K sopts I was incharge of creating and rendering these elements: Responsible for all TurbulenceFD builds, sims, and render. - Batman: Environment smoke, Bat signal smoke, signal bulb RnD - Superman: Environment smoke - Wonder woman: Environment smoke - Aquaman: Environment/trident bubbles - Cyborg: Environment smoke and arm fire - Flash: Environment smoke, body trails, body flames, particles - Green lantern: Environment nebula, body energy, lantern energy blast - End lineup: Environment smoke - Logo: Environment haze For the 20K Comic-Con Hall H I did: Responsible for all TurbulenceFD asset builds, sims, and renders. - Batman: Environment haze, moon lit cloudscape with Bat signal light projection, Batarang smoke stream. - Superman: Clouds - Wonder woman: Sunset lit cloudscape - Aquaman: Environment bubbles - Cyborg: Environment smoke and arm fire - Flash: Body trails, lightning bolts, emblem energy, particles, body flames - Green lantern: Environment nebula, body energy, lantern energy blast and smoke - End lineup: Environment smoke - Logo: Environment haze - Individual cloud elements were also created for comp to add where needed.
